Our story

Lone Cone Armory was started in 2023 by Clayton Armstrong, a former U.S. Army Infantryman, law enforcement officer, and lifelong hunter and outdoorsman. Clay has always had a deep passion for firearms and recognized the need for a full-service gunsmithing shop in the San Juan region.

Armed with a degree in Firearms Science and Technology, Clay started Lone Cone Armory with the mission of establishing a locally-owned and operated armory that could offer a wide range of specialized services tailored to the community’s needs.
